Boy Scout And Girl Scout Uniform Colors
Boy Scouts Have So Many Merit Badges
Boy Scouts of America has 11 different ranks split between the cub scouts (Webelos, Bear scout, Wolf scout, and Tiger scout) and the boy scouts (Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star scout, Life scout, and Eagle scout). There are more than 135 different merit badges that a scout can earn.

And Girl Scouts Have a Ton of Insignia
In the Girl Scouts of America, there are five levels (Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors) and hundreds of insignia to earn, like scout uniform badges, pins and emblems. Between the studying and the physical training, being a scout is a lot of work! And not just for the scouts. Uniforms need sew-on hook and loop tape to attach those hook and loop badges and the uniforms come in so many colors, not to mention the patches and badges come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
Hook and Loop Color Options
So what is a parent to do? Well, at HookandLoop.com we stock 25 different colors of hook and loop in our DuraGrip Brand. We sell the hook side and the loop side separately in case you only need one side (like the loop: the soft fuzzy side). All of our products are sold on 25-yard rolls, so just one roll should be enough for a whole troop of Boy and Girl Scout uniforms! Popular colors we stock include Beige, Olive Drab, Navy Blue, Kelly Green, Coyote Brown and Brown.
Our sew-on hook and loop is available in various widths from 5/8” all the way up to 4” wide. If you think this might be exactly what you’re looking for, you’re right. Give us a call today to learn more.
