DuraGrip brand adhesive backed hook and loop fasteners come with two different options. There is a rubber based adhesive and an acrylic based adhesive. There are a few key differences between the rubber and acrylic adhesives, including tackiness, temperature range and the best substrates.

The adhesive backed hook and loop sides are sold separately on the roll - be sure to order both sides if needed.

Peel-and-stick hook and loop is an ideal alternative for light-to-moderate duty applications such as adhering headliners in boats and automobiles, hanging information at tradeshows, warehouse labeling, or storage for such things as remote controls and light-weight tools. The advantage of using peel-and-stick hook and loop is that it provides an alternative to a mechanical fastener such as nails and screws; the adhesive bond, is strong and reliable.

Some of the differences between Rubber and Acrylic adhesives include operating temperature range, how they hold up to moisture and chemicals, and how well they bond to various substrates.

The material used to manufacture our peel-and-stick hook and loop products is of the highest quality, and will retain its strength over 10,000 cycles and more. We carry peel-and-stick hook and loop products from DuraGrip and VELCRO® Brand in sheets of varying widths and strength ratings, so you can choose the one most suitable for your uses. The sheets can be cut to various shapes for specific applications. Various colors are also available from which to choose. You will find peel-and-stick hook and loop to be safe and economical to use.

We offer over 15 colors in 1", 1.5" and 2" peel and stick hook and loop. These DuraGrip brand adhesive fasteners may require a lead time of up to 4 business days.

We also offer the 6-inch Hook and Loop for $11.74 per yard.

What is hook and loop?
Hook and loop is a two component fastener popularized by the VELCRO® Brand. The hook is the rough, scratchy side and the loop is the soft, fuzzy side.
What size are the rolls?
Most of the rolls we sell are 25 yards long. Some products are sold on 50 yard rolls, like some low profile hook products and 3/8" and 1/2" sew on. Some products are sold on 100 yard rolls, like the polypropylene webbing. And some products are sold by the yard, like the wide loop. You can find the roll size on the product page above the attributes or above the pricing.
Which adhesive is right for me?
We offer two kinds of pressure sensitive adhesives. A rubber based adhesive, and an acrylic based adhesive. For these adhesives, you simply peel off the release liner and stick the adhesive into place. The rubber adhesive is a high tack adhesive that bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including rough and uneven surfaces. Some examples include plastic, drywall, wood, metal, and glass. This adhesive is a good all-around adhesive, but it doesn't hold up as well to moisture and chemical use. It's operating temperature is good up to 120-190F, depending on the brand. The acrylic adhesive is a medium tack adhesive that bonds well to smooth surfaces like glass, stainless steel and aluminum. It also bonds well to certain plastics. This adhesive holds up better to moisture and chemicals and has a wider operating temperature range, good up to 225-240F, depending on the brand. Which Adhesive Should I Use?
