Shipping rates on hook and loop products usually run about $10-$15 per package. This is a little higher than normal due to the fact that hook and loop weighs so little. Generally, the heavier a package the more it costs to ship. But with hook and loop, the material takes up a lot of space without weighing very much. As a result, most packages are shipped by dimensional weight. This is determined by the shipping carrier and not by the shipper.
FedEx and UPS have pretty comparable rates for Ground shipments. It's usually worthwhile to use these carriers when you are located near our location in the southeastern US. It also makes sense for orders that are important to be delivered on time. For expedited shipments, UPS is usually slightly more affordable.
As far as rates go, USPS is the least expensive across the board. But they generally only provide shipping delivery windows like 3-7 days, or 5-9 days for delivery. However, if you are a west coast customer you may receive a package from USPS faster than you would via FedEx or UPS.
Since we don’t have any west coast distributors or other shipping locations, taking our Jacksonville, FL location into account may prove beneficial for some customers. On international orders to Canada, the shipper rates we charge do not include any customs fees or additional charges that may be required.
