Automotive fleet management companies order this 1" black VELCRO® Brand fastener from us to have it cut to length for free. One customer uses the 1” squares that we cut and mate together with the corresponding loop side to adhere GPS hardware components as well as interface and temperature tracking sensors and other communication devices inside fleet vehicles in order to monitor locations and other technical data. The acrylic based adhesive of this VELCRO® Brand fastener is ideal for use in hot car interiors as it has a high temperature rating and adheres well in moist or humid conditions.
Hook and Loop are sold separately - be sure to order BOTH sides if needed.
The Acrylic Adhesive works best on substrates such as: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Painted Metal, Glass, and Rigid Plastics.

What size are the rolls?
Most of the rolls we sell are 25 yards long. Some products are sold on 50 yard rolls, like some low profile hook products and 3/8" and 1/2" sew on. Some products are sold on 100 yard rolls, like the polypropylene webbing. And some products are sold by the yard, like the wide loop. You can find the roll size on the product page above the attributes or above the pricing.
Which adhesive is right for me?
We offer two kinds of pressure sensitive adhesives. A rubber based adhesive, and an acrylic based adhesive. For these adhesives, you simply peel off the release liner and stick the adhesive into place. The rubber adhesive is a high tack adhesive that bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including rough and uneven surfaces. Some examples include plastic, drywall, wood, metal, and glass. This adhesive is a good all-around adhesive, but it doesn't hold up as well to moisture and chemical use. It's operating temperature is good up to 120-190F, depending on the brand. The acrylic adhesive is a medium tack adhesive that bonds well to smooth surfaces like glass, stainless steel and aluminum. It also bonds well to certain plastics. This adhesive holds up better to moisture and chemicals and has a wider operating temperature range, good up to 225-240F, depending on the brand. Which Adhesive Should I Use?
