DuraGrip® Brand Low-Profile Hook 3 comes in widths from 5/8" to 4". This thin hook fastener is available in Black only and without adhesive backing. The hook density for this item is about 884 hooks per square inch and it functions especially well in shear strength. This hook works well with both the standard profile DuraGrip loop or a low-profile loop like Loop 3610. This thin hook is perfect for baby clothes and baby diapers because it's softer against the skin.

The peel strength for this hook depends on the loop it is mated with, but ranges around 2-3 psi. Shear strength ranges from 11-14 psi. The profile on this hook is 0.67mm. If you are interested in a specific version of these low profile fasteners, we are happy to provide you with a quote.

What is hook and loop?
Hook and loop is a two component fastener popularized by the VELCRO® Brand. The hook is the rough, scratchy side and the loop is the soft, fuzzy side.
What size are the rolls?
Most of the rolls we sell are 25 yards long. Some products are sold on 50 yard rolls, like some low profile hook products and 3/8" and 1/2" sew on. Some products are sold on 100 yard rolls, like the polypropylene webbing. And some products are sold by the yard, like the wide loop. You can find the roll size on the product page above the attributes or above the pricing.
