DuraGrip® Brand Polyester Hook and Loop

DuraGrip Brand Polyester hook and loop fasteners are made from 100% Polyester 8 mil monofilament with 324 hooks/sq. inch. Polyester is an alternative to Nylon hook and loop fasteners. Polyester is resistant to mildew as well as stretching, pilling and shrinking. Polyester has a low tolerance for high temperatures and tends to dry slower than other fabrics. It is most resistant to ultraviolet light, but does not float. The cycle life for polyester hook and loop adhesive is the same as for nylon: 20,000 operations minimum. The shear strength for polyester is 12,000 grams per square inch, while the peel strength is 800 grams per inch of width.

These products meet mil-spec AA55126 rev C as a Type II, Class 3 fastener. Certificates of conformance can be provided upon request.

Operating Temperature for polyester hook and loop is -60 F to 280 F. The selvage has a 2.0mm max with a width tolerance of 1.5mm max. The profile of the hook is 2.2mm and the loop profile is 2.45mm.
