Automotive fleet management companies order this 1" black VELCRO® Brand fastener from us to have it cut to length for free. One customer uses the 1” squares that we cut and mate together with the corresponding loop side to adhere GPS hardware components as well as interface and temperature tracking sensors and other communication devices inside fleet vehicles in order to monitor locations and other technical data. The acrylic based adhesive of this VELCRO® Brand fastener is ideal for use in hot car interiors as it has a high temperature rating and adheres well in moist or humid conditions.

The Acrylic Adhesive works best on substrates such as: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Painted Metal, Glass, and Rigid Plastics.

Operating Temperature Range: -20 F to 225 F

Closure Shear Strength: 14.0 psi

Closure Peel Strength: 1.2 psi

Closure Tension Strength: 6.5 psi

This Adhesive has:

Moderate Tack

Medium Setting

Achieves full bond strength in 24 hours

Surface must be cleaned, preferably with a solvent, and dry before bonding. For best results, bonding is recommended at room temperature, 60 F to 75 F.
